On February 9, 2017, within the educational Center PRO DIDACTICA<\/em>, was held an important event dedicated to launching phase II of the project Open Education in Moldova: Here and Now!<\/em>, which will be carried out during 2017, with the financial support of the Foundation Open Society Institute<\/em>, in cooperation with the Support Program in Education of the Open Society Foundations.<\/p>\n

This event was attended by members of the Coalition for Open Educational Resources in Moldova, representatives from the General Departments of Education, Youth and Sport, trainers of the center, didactical staff from schools and universities,\u00a0interested in the issue.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The national experts have presented experience of using the open educational resources in\u00a0 Moldova, based on the results of the first phase of the project \u201d Open Education in Moldova: here and now!\u201d; the most important international practices related to the policies in the field and their implementation by creating and promoting OER have been highlighted.<\/p>\n

Participants have discussed the relevance of the OER for different stakeholders in education and the results of the previous project and activities of the current project have been presented, these include: continuing a campaign to promote OER, launching a competition of the best open educational resources and organizing trainings for teachers, thus determining a better access to quality open education.<\/p>\n

Also, during this event a Collaboration Agreement between Educational Center PRO DIDACTICA<\/em> and the Information Society Development Institute<\/em> (ISDI) has been signed, thus ISDI becomes a member of the Coalition for Open Educational Resources in Moldova.<\/p>\n
